I think it should be held in a very public place with lots of press, and open to the public... and if they want a private dinner to honor them with just close friends and family would be a good idea. Good luck to them! Lots of prayers to keep them safe.sophiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15753340593022195489noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-339303336809743327.post-58621055979655910952009-05-22T19:57:15.000-04:002009-05-22T19:57:15.000-04:00Depends on what the fee is and how accessible the ...Depends on what the fee is and how accessible the location is. If it's downtown there may be some logistics with parking.Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11371157919983960207noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-339303336809743327.post-8683462646372512872009-05-22T19:55:50.678-04:002009-05-22T19:55:50.678-04:00This comment has been removed by the author.Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11371157919983960207noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-339303336809743327.post-70256496380540658182009-05-22T15:52:51.278-04:002009-05-22T15:52:51.278-04:00Tina, congratualtions on your new blog job, not th...Tina, congratualtions on your new blog job, not that you have any spare time to waste, but best of luck. As far as the public being able to attend the awards,it should be an honor for the people of Troy to say Thank you for a job well done to the men and women that work tirelessly for them. Most of the time they are ridiculed, and everyone seems to show up for that. At a time when the Police Department is being honored, the general public knows nothing about it and are unable to show their support. Perhaps it is because it would require some sort of effort to put together the Awards Ceremony. Someone would need to volunteer their time to do this. I for one would volunteer to take on such a task in the future. Troy's finest should be recognized for the Great job that they continue to do day in and day out. Congratulations to all members who received awards, they are well deserved, and to the remaining force for taking pride in their work and their dedication to the City of Troy.Charhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01077087731485858275noreply@blogger.com
